# Event Orders

The **Event Orders** page shows every order placed for a single event, together with the sales totals, ticket counts and gateway fees for that event. It is also where you change an order's status, edit the buyer's details, resend confirmation emails and export your order data.

To open it go to your [Dashboard](/event-dashboard/), hover the **Actions** button on the event and choose **View Orders**.

You must be the organiser of the event to see this page, though you can give other people access by listing them in the **Administrator Emails** option in your Event Settings. If your credit balance is negative, access to the page is restricted until you top up into positive credits.

At the top of the page is a link to the **Attendees** page for the same event, so you can switch between the two views easily.

#### Order Summary

Under the event title the total sales figure for the event is shown, followed by a summary table that counts the orders and totals the takings for each status: **Completed, Partially Paid, On-Hold, Processing, Cancelled, Refunded, Deleted** and **Failed**.

#### Ticket Details

This table breaks the sales down by ticket type, showing how many of each ticket are Cancelled, Processing, On-Hold, Completed or Deleted. Use the buttons above the table to download it as a **CSV, Excel** or **PDF** file.

#### Gateway Fees

Shows the total fees charged by each payment gateway for the event. The Stripe figure is the actual fee reported by Stripe, while the PayPal figure is an estimate.

#### Credits Used

A breakdown of the credits spent on this event, showing the credits used by ticket sales, emails sent, seating and waitlist charges, plus the overall total.

#### The Orders Table

The main table lists every order for the event with one row per order. The table is wider than the screen, so scroll it sideways to see all of the columns:

- **Order ID** - click it to view the full details of that order (see below)
- **Order Status** - the current status of the order, click it to change it (see below)
- **Resend Email** - resends the confirmation email to the buyer
- **Order Date** - the date the order was placed
- **Buyer Name** and **Buyer Email** - the billing details entered at checkout
- **Gateway** - the payment method used, eg Stripe, PayPal, BACS or Cheque
- **Tickets** - the ticket types and quantities in the order. Cancelled tickets are shown struck through in red
- **Order Total** - the amount the buyer paid
- **Order Discount** - any discount applied to the order, eg by a coupon
- **Order Refunds** - the value of cancelled or refunded tickets
- **Ticket Total** - the value of the active tickets in the order
- **Stripe Fee** and **Paypal Fee** - the fee charged by the gateway for that order
- **Note** - any note the buyer added at checkout
- **Credits Left** - the buyer's credit balance after the order

Rows are colour coded by status so you can see at a glance how your sales are doing: completed orders are green, on-hold orders are orange, processing orders are violet and cancelled orders are pink.

#### Working with the Table

The buttons and tools above the table let you view and export the data in different ways:

- **Search** - type into the search box to filter the orders, eg by a name or email address
- **Sort** - click a column heading to sort the table by that column, click again to reverse the order
- **Column visibility** - choose which columns are shown in the table
- **CSV, Excel, PDF** and **Print** - download or print the table. Only the columns currently visible are exported
- **Show entries** - choose how many orders are shown per page (10, 20, 50, 100 or All)

Note that the tables on this page are generated from the registration data and include any transferred attendees.

#### Viewing an Order

Click the **Order ID** to open a popup showing the details of that order. It lists each attendee in the order with their status, the ticket they hold and the price paid, and shows a QR code which is used when checking attendees in at the event.

#### Changing an Order

Click the **Order Status** to open the Change Order Details popup. It lists the attendees included in the order and lets you:

- Change the **Order Status** to Completed, On-Hold, Processing, Cancelled or Deleted
- Correct the **Buyer Name**
- Correct the **Buyer Email**

Setting an order to **cancelled** removes everyone in that order from the attendee list, releases their tickets back for sale and sends a cancellation email to the buyer. If you only need to cancel one person from a multi-person order, do it from the **Attendees** page instead. See the [Refund Order](/docs/refund-order/) guide for more on this.

Orders with a status of **failed** or **refunded** cannot be changed.

Any changes you make here are recorded as order notes, so there is always a history of what was changed.

#### Resending the Confirmation Email

If a buyer says they never received their order confirmation, click **Resend** in the Resend Email column and confirm. The confirmation email for that order is sent to the buyer again.

#### Ticket Counts (Debug)

This table compares the number of tickets recorded as sold against the number counted in the registrations. If they ever get out of step you can click the stored count to correct it. Note that transferred tickets are not included in this value, so they will still be counted as missing here.
