# Term Tickets

**Term Tickets** are for events that run as a series of sessions - a weekly class, a term of lessons, a season of fixtures. Instead of creating a ticket for every session by hand, you pick all the dates once and Snappy creates a ticket for each session for you.

You'll find it in the [Dates](/docs/dates/) section of the event editor.

#### Setting Up a Term

1. Tick **Create Term Tickets** - a new set of fields appears.
2. In **Term Dates**, click every date the sessions run on - it's a multi-date picker so you can select them all in one go.
3. Set the **Session Start/End Time**, the **Session Cost** and the **Session Quantity** (how many places are available each session).
4. Click the **Create Term Tickets** button - a ticket is created for every date you picked.

#### Adding a Whole-Term Ticket

As well as per-session tickets you can sell a ticket that covers the *whole term* - handy for offering a discount to people who commit to every session:

- Tick **Create Term Ticket**
- Set the **Term Cost** - usually a bit cheaper than buying every session separately
- Set the **Term Quantity** - how many whole-term places to offer

The term ticket appears alongside the session tickets on your event page, so buyers choose between one session or the whole term.

#### Good to Know

- Once tickets have been sold the **Create Term Tickets** option is disabled - the session tickets are tied to real orders at that point
- **Duplicating** a term event gives you a clean copy with the tickets and term dates removed, ready for you to set the next term's dates
- Each session ticket behaves like a normal ticket - it shows on the [Orders](/docs/event-orders/) and [Attendees](/docs/event-attendees/) pages, works with [coupons](/docs/coupons/) and so on
