SUMMARY:Big Autumn Family Sing 2026
DESCRIPTION:I’m so looking forward to welcoming you to our Big Autumn Family Sing!  A family singing session welcoming mamas, papas, siblings, grandparents, neighbours, etc!  As in our regular sessions, we’ll be singing simple harmony songs and rounds – all learned by ear – so no previous experience of singing, or music making required – ALL voices are welcome.THE MORNINGWe’ll be gathering in the Sandys-Winsch room in the Waterloo Park Pavilion, above the Feed Cafe. The park is beautiful so feel free to arrive early, or stay after, to enjoy an autumnal walk, the brilliant playground, and the cafe!  Our morning together will follow the same format as our regular sessions. We’ll be singing for the first hour and then have time to connect and chat over a cuppa and some treats. We will be singing beautiful, diverse, easy-to-learn songs, that you can take home and weave into your daily life and sing together!You are welcome to arrive 5-10 minutes early to get comfortable in the space and be ready for a 10:15 am start. If you need to bring a buggy with you on the day, there is a lift you can use to come upstairs. Once we’re all settled in we’ll warm-up to enable us to access our voices safely, followed by a lovely sing! We’ll finish our session with some refreshments and time for a chat! I’ll be bringing the tea, coffee, etc. but please bring your own mug.  Bring a water bottle with you too as singing can be thirsty work!Please let me know about any allergies/dietary requirements in advance.A reminder that any accompanying children remain the responsibility of their parents/carers throughout the entire session.WHAT TO BRINGI’ll have the room set up with chairs for adults and older children, and a soft space in the middle for the little ones with a few books and gentle toys. If you’d like to bring a blanket or cushion to make your seat more comfortable feel free. And please do bring your own mug and a full water bottle. Feel free to bring snacks for your kids, but please nothing containing nuts.BOOKING AND COSTThe ticket price is £15 for the first adult and then reduced tickets for any accompanying family members – there’s also an earlybird rate if you book by 6th September.  Babes in arms up to the age of 11, please select a £1 ticket. There is a £2 ticket option for older children aged 12-18 which includes a chair.
