SUMMARY:Harmony Hub Hereford Singing Camp 22nd-25th May 2026 hosting Heartful Harmonies – Katy Rose Bennett and Rosie Sleightholme
DESCRIPTION:Harmony Hub Hereford’s first ever singing camp in the beautiful grounds of the Steiner Academy Hereford!We are delighted to host the fabulous songwriters and community choir leaders Katy Rose Bennett and Rosie Sleightholme, who together make up Heartful Harmonies. Katy and Rosie are a dynamic duo whose style is fun and energetic. You will not be disappointed!For this long weekend, Katy and Rosie will be sharing their own original songs as well as songs by others and, as Natural Voice Network leaders, they teach by ear. There’s no need to read music or to have had any previous singing experience. All abilities welcome.Camping will be on the large playing field of the Steiner Academy Hereford, a minute’s walk from the Main Hall where the singing will happen. There will be toilets and porta-showers. We will be providing three lovingly cooked evening meals for those who would like to take advantage of not having to think about camp cooking. Campers will be responsible for their own breakfasts and lunches.Children are most welcome and there will be someone there to lead activities for them during the singing sessions.Dates: 22-25 May 2026Arrive: from 4.30pm Friday, dinner served at 6-6.30pm (we will save some for those arriving later), evening sing from 8pmSaturday and Sunday singing 10.30 – 1pm & 2-4.30pmMonday morning sing 10.30-1pm, followed by pack up and go home. Site vacated by 4.30pmVenue: Steiner Academy Hereford, Much Dewchurch, HR2 8DLFood: Evening meals will be vegetarian. Please make sure you let us know of any allergies or need for vegan/gluten free options. Hot drinks/refreshments included in ticket price.We will ask everyone to sign up for a small ‘job’ for the weekend to help share the load. Firewood, recycling, washing up etc.Some fridge/freezer space will be available.Unfortunately it will NOT be possible to camp inside any of the school buildings this time.Campervans welcome. Strictly no dogs.There will be a main camp fire in the evenings (with informal singing around it of course). No individual fires allowed, not even in fire bowls. Sorry!There is a village shop 1 mile away in Wormelow for any grocery emergencies.We will provide a comprehensive recycling station but all landfill rubbish will need to be taken away with you.
