SUMMARY:Poetry Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Poetry in Nature, Nature in Poetry – with Mitch SmithJoin us on the land for a day of soaking in nature and poetry.We’ll discuss the intrinsic link between the two, explore how other poets have incorporated the natural world into their works and what techniques a poet can employ to best depict nature. We’ll break for a hearty vegetarian lunch before heading out onto the land to garner inspiration for our own nature based poetry.~Mitch Smith attended Bath Spa University, completing a BA in English literature and creative writing and an MA in writing for young people. In her spare time she volunteers on the land with her two children.Bursary places available.
