SUMMARY:Sing For Water – Buxton, Derbyshire
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday 1st August for an evening of singing together in The Pump Room, Buxton to raise funds for WaterAid. We will learn lots of water themed songs and sing them in the beautiful pump room building. Everyone and all voices are welcome. We will learn the songs together by ear, repeating each part until we can all sing it. Expect a mixture of rounds and harmonies from around the world. The suggested ticket donation is £10. There is the option to pay less or more, just pay what you can afford. All the money raised will go to WaterAid.The Pump Room was built in 1894 as a natural baths for visitors to bathe in Buxton’s healing waters. It seems a fitting venue to sing and raise money for WaterAid. WaterAid are an international non-profit organisation with one goal: to change the world through water.
