SUMMARY:Singing, Seals and Silence 2026 – a Day Retreat on Hilbre Island
DESCRIPTION:We will spend the day together, first walking out to the island (40-60mins) then spending time getting to know each other and singing together before going out to have time to ourselves in this beautiful landscape as the tide comes in and the sea surrounds the island. We will have a second session of songs before walking back to West Kirby as the tide goes out.The event will take roughly 8 hours including walks there and back. There is no running water on the island but we will have use of an enclosed building and there are compost toilets. You will need to bring all the food and drink that you will require as well as whatever clothing you need. The island can be very windy and chilly, even at the height of summer. It can also be very beautiful and viewings of seals are pretty much guaranteed, as well as many birds and flowers.Please contact me for further details if you’re intested in coming.
