Foraging Day: Wild Garlic and Nettles | |

Join Ellie and Su at ‘From the Land’ to gather natural ingredients from a beautiful 8 acre smallholding on the edge of Bath. We will be focusing on wild garlic and nettles but will also teach you to identify other edible and useful spring species.
Our foraging methods are rooted in the honourable harvest: making sure we only take what we need by foraging responsibly, respecting other species and respecting the ecosystem as a whole.
We will then cook what we’ve gathered in our cosy, renovated barn. Lunch and hot drinks will be provided: please let us know at least 3 days in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
Perfect for beginners and seasoned foragers.
Price: £25 per person. We want to make our workshops more inclusive so 2 bursary tickets of £10 are also available – please email us about this.
Accessing the site:
We encourage attendees to arrive on site in as planet-friendly manner as possible, e.g. by bus, by bike or on foot (directions will be provided). Parking is very limited, so please let us know at least 3 days in advance if you need to travel by car.
