Sound Sculpture performance | |
You are invited to an interactive performance by Chris and Lianne Baron with instruments of the PANArt Hang ensemble.
The venue is the Othona West Dorset chapel, at the end of a retreat weekend led by Chris Baron.
There is no charge for this evening, but places are limited and there will be a chance to make a donation in appreciation.
The Hang – a totally new musical instrument – was born at the beginning of the millennium in Bern, Switzerland. The sound of this new metal sound sculpture went around the world.
The growing family of new musical instruments influenced by different cultures can now be experienced in a collective. This unique musical experience can bring us to a state of profound rapport with each other and groundedness in the universe. You will emerge invigorated.
Christopher Baron is a hcpc registered music therapist and one of just two people in the world who play a whole ensemble of the related Hang instruments. He brings this unique experience to Othona for a three-day retreat.
