Camilo Menjura Singing Workshop
Camilo Menjura is from Colombia and lives in London. He carries a deep knowledge of Latin American and hispanic music and brings great skill and enthusiasm to his workshops, making intricate rhythms and unusual harmonies accessible. Camilo runs LOL Choir in London and sings with Oaken a cappella quartet.
Camilo will weave together a day of deep rhythms, colourful harmonies and wonderful songs from Spain and Latin America to soothe your soul and lift your spirit.
Everyone is welcome
Everything will be taught by ear
No knowledge of singing or Spanish necessary

I currently run two local community choirs and guest teach for other groups, including the Carmarthen Stroke Survivors. My teaching style is playful and supportive. I am passionate about empowering people to feel safe and free making music and singing together.
I teach music from a broad collection of styles and origins, I love songs that make me feel connected to my body and the earth, I love the sense of utter joy and wonder that comes from creating harmonies together.

The Community Hall is regularly used by the community and residents to hold concerts, community events and community classes as well as by local groups, Community Council, gardening club, Guides, karate, senior citizens, short mat bowls, W.I., YFC and YF show committee.
