Mondays – The Otley Farm Choir | |
The Otley Farm Choir!
Thank you for your interest in joining The Otley Farm Choir, we love to welcome new members to
join us in song.
We teach predominantly without lyrics or sheet music, aurally, so please
don’t be put off if you feel like you have no formal experience in singing. Everyone is
welcome! We sing folk songs from across the world, from the British Isles to Cuba and
beyond, usually in three- or four-part harmony.
When: Mondays, 10-11.30am, term-time only
Term Dates: January 6th – 10th February
Where: The Otley Common, Otley Methodist Church, Walkergate, Otley.
How often do I need to come?
We run our singing groups on Mondays, 10.30am-12pm at The Methodist Church in Otley. We also run a Farm Choir in Meanwood on a Wednesday & Thursday evening, 6-7.30pm. You’d be welcome at our other groups if you can’t make it on a Monday 🙂
You are welcome to come and join us as a one off ‘taster’ session, priced at either £5/£7/£10, before you make a commitment 😊
We ask for half termly commitment. For your first half term, you are able to join anywhere in the term, for example week 3 or 5. Once you have joined however, we ask you commit to each half term, from the beginning.
These sessions are used up consecutively, and the sessions are only valid for the half-term they are booked for.
We understand that people have other commitments, but if you miss a session, you cannot roll it over to the next term. This is because we rely on predictability and commitment to be able to remain sustainable, and therefore we cannot accommodate ad-hoc attendees.
When we near the end of each half-term we will send you an email to check if you would like to rebook for the next half-term.
We are asking for a half-termly commitment. Paying in half-termly blocks affords us the
sustainability to keep running the choir, so thank you!
