Sing With Lea Morris | |

Lea Morris is a singer/ songwriter and choral composer whose accessible, uplifting songs draw rhythmic and thematic inspiration from her upbringing in the southern Baptist church of the US – without being remotely religious. She has a gift for excavating the spiritual from within the mundane and bringing joy wherever she shares her music.
Liane Carroll is one of the hottest singers on the UK jazz scene. Double BBC jazz-award winner, she has also won Best Female Jazz Vocalist at the first Ronnie Scotts Jazz Awards, presented by Tony Bennett and Michael Parkinson, and she made a head-line appearance at the Glastonbury Festival.
The day consists of an afternoon singing workshop with Lea Morris 2pm – 5pm and an evening concert, which can be attended separately or combined. The Lea Morris, Liane Carroll and Friends in Concert gig is 7pm-9pm.
Tickets will also be available on the door. You can upgrade your singing workshop ticket on the day if you wish to attend the evening concert.
Accessibility: Unitarian is accessible – the side gate will be open so that the ramp is clear and there is flat access throughout and an accessible toilet. There will be chairs available for anyone who needs them at all points during the workshop. If you have questions or requests on the day, speak to Jen and she’ll happily help you.
