Sustainable Spring Wreath Workshop | |

Join Su ‘From the Land’ and Hazel ‘Happy Hare’ to create a totally unique, sustainable, spring wreath, using recycled cotton cord, and willow and flowers grown on site at From The Land, an 8 acre organic smallholding on the edge of Bath. From The Land is a Community Interest Company that helps to reconnect people to nature and awaken their creative abilities. The finished wreaths will be approximately 25 cm across, will last for many seasons and are ideal to add a touch of natural beauty to your home.
What you’ll get:
– Expert guidance to create your own willow wreath base, master basic macrame knots, and dried flower arranging. All materials for the wreath will be provided.
– Hot drinks and sweet treats available throughout the day. We request that you bring your own lunch. Please email in advance with any specific dietary requirements including allergies.
– The chance to relax and unwind in a stunning and peaceful location, with the opportunity to explore the site at lunchtime, and take in the mature tree avenue, stream, flower gardens and far reaching views over the valleys.
– The workshop space is in a lovingly renovated, cosy barn, where you can enjoy getting creative in a bright and friendly atmosphere.
Perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike, we aim for you to leave the workshop, not only with a stunning, sustainable spring wreath, but also having learnt new techniques that you will feel confident using time and again.
