Oval Basket Making Workshop

WORKSHOP INFO

On this two day workshop you will begin by learning how to make an oval base using the stake and strand technique – this can then be worked up into either a trug style harvest basket or a shopping basket. The workshop is designed to give you a chance to learn or hone different weaving techniques and finish off the basket with a beautiful wrapped handle. 

This workshop is for adults only and suitable for those that have done some willow basket making before, if you are a complete beginner please check out some of my other workshops or the basket club course. 

There will be a maximum of 6 people on the workshop which will allow time and attention to all those participating. 

Refreshments will be provided, please bring your own lunch. 

The course will run over two days from 9:30am – 4:30pm. 

COST
£150 – £190.
I am offering the workshop on a sliding scale to try and make it as accessible as possible for those on lower incomes. Please pay accordingly as to what you feel you can offer. Price includes all materials.

If you would like to secure your place but pay nearer the time please chose a deposit ticket – pay £50 now and the remainder of the payment will need to be paid 2 weeks prior to the workshop.

Cancellation policy:

You will be entitled to a full refund up to 30 days before the workshop. After this you will receive a 75% refund if I can fill your place. Cancellation policy applies to full ticket price and deposits.

Please note – all willow work requires hand strength and flexibility, please bear this in mind when booking on to this workshop.
