Further info:
Whitsun Voice camp is a small camp of about 100 people that has been going for about 25 years. We camp in circles and cook evening meals together. Bring veggie food to contribute to a meal. Firewood is provided and seasoned campers bring large pans to go over the fire.
There are two hot gas showers, two long drop and 2 portable loos and washing facilities.
Singing and other camp activities are held in a large marquee and children are welcome to join in the workshops. There is a separate marquee for over 5’s children’s activities such as singing and crafts.
There is also qigong, yoga and a cabaret evening – children and adults welcome to sign up for a spot! Singing and jamming around the fire is encouraged and instruments welcome! There will be a chance to sell second hand clothes or crafts at the market slot in the programme.
At Whitsun, the weather is unpredictable, so bring plenty of blankets, sheepskins and warm bedding, and clothes suitable for all weathers and cool nights. If you have them, bring fire friendly kettles and cooking pots, axe, kindling and stuff to sell at the market if you want to.
No pets (it is an operating farm) or amplified music. We ask for sensitivity around drinking of alcohol and please confine phoning/texting to your tent or the car park.
