Joint Christmas Concert – People of Note, Rising Sun Singers, Folks & Bairns
Come and join us for a joyful afternoon of festive community singing! Rosie Sleightholme’s three Natural Voice community choirs – People of Note, Folks & Bairns, and The Rising Sun Singers – will come together for a joint Christmas concert on Saturday 10th December at 2pm. We’ll be at St Michael & All Angels Church on Windmill Hill, Bristol and will be singing festive (and a couple of non-festive!) songs that the choirs have learnt this term.
Concert starts: 215pm
Tickets: Adults £5 / Children FREE *
*Please book tickets for your children so we know how many people to expect/how many kiddy refreshments to order!
After the performance we’ll be selling mulled wine and non alcoholic options. We’ll also have a cake sale of mince pies and cakes made by choir members. Proceeds from the cake sale will go to Southville-based music therapy charity Music Space. PLEASE BRING CASH, WITH SMALL CHANGE! There will be a card reader, but cash will mean we can serve multiple people at once.
There will also be Christmas cards for sale by wonderful Windmill Hill illustrator Just Like Sophie.
Event Location:St Michael and All Angels Church, Windmill Hill, Bristol BS3 4LW, UK
Yes, there is an accessible entrance to the right of the main double doors. There is also an accessible toilet.
If you have to drive, there is free on street parking on Windmill Hill, although there are not always many spaces near to the church. Allow extra time to find a parking space. You could park on or around Nutgrove Avenue and walk through Victoria park to the church if there are no spaces on Windmill Hill.
We'll start singing at 215, sing for around half an hour and then stick around for mulled wine, mince pies, cakes, juice, and other refreshments.
Check your junk mail as it may have been sent there. Don't worry too much though, as your name will be on our list, which we will have at the door on the day.
