Street Choirs Festival Bradford 2025 | |

Four local community choirs have come together to organise the 41st Street Choir Festival, happening in Bradford city centre on 13th-15th June 2025. This weekend is happening in conjunction with ‘Windrush Generations- Carnival of Culture’. Our theme is ‘Resilience – we are strong’.
2025 is a big year for Bradford, it being UK City Of Culture, and we welcome you to what will be a great addition to this wonderful year of culture.
Our main venue for the weekend is the magnificent St Georges Hall, which seats just over 1,200 people and is one the UK’s oldest concert halls. St George’s Hall is right in the heart of Bradford city centre.
Following the success of Sheffield’s new programming we have decided to follow a similar pattern. The weekend will start with a mass sing choir rehearsal with all the singers together followed by a concert on Friday evening, a Saturday morning mass sing followed by Street Singing and 2 concerts on Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening with the choirs performing a short set, either individually or together. This is an acapella singing festival.
The mass sing will be outside in City Park on Saturday morning, followed by Street Singing around the city streets. Workshops on Sunday morning will be in venues close to the town centre, including City Hall and Bradford Cathedral.
Bradford has taken on the festival twice previously after it became a choir festival, once in 1999 & then again in 2005 and is very much looking forward to welcoming everyone again.
The website has more details of the workshops, picnics, T shirts and weekend programme. A limited number of Family & Friends tickets will be issued in a few weeks time. https://streetchoirsfestival.co.uk/
