We’re very excited to be running our Summer Sizzler in this 17th Century manor house set in a 30 acre estate. Situated in the heart of England, within the Charnwood National Forest a unique landscape with 700-million-year-old volcanic rock outcrops.
The Grounds
We are free to explore Nanpantan’s delightful woodland estate. There is a hidden dell ideal for quiet contemplation and mature gardens. The garden terrace along the back of the house overlooks the lawns and has far-reaching picturesque views over the valley towards Beacon Hill. Wheelchair access is available from the house onto the terrace.
We have direct access to woodland walks and open heaths. A two-mile permissive path leads to Beacon Hill, one of the ‘Seven Natural Wonders of the Midlands,’ From the top, there are expansive views across Leicestershire to Lincoln Cathedral and the hills of the Peak District.
The Weekend
The weekend starts with Dinner on the Friday and finishes at 3pm on the Sunday. We will be learning several major songs as well as some short fun soulful pieces, all in 4-part harmony. With delicious food, drinks available any time of the day or night, a trek around the grounds, saturday night cabaret, why would you want to be anywhere else!
Accomodation
Nanpantan Hall has 26 bedrooms all in the main house.
The Accommodation is set over three floors (with lift access), with various bedroom sizes available, from single bedrooms to large family rooms. The ground floor bedroom is specially fitted for disabled guests. The first-floor bedrooms are elegant with high ceilings and large windows. The Attic rooms are all ensuite set amidst the eves.
Single rooms – 10 (7 ensuite)
Twin/Double rooms – 9 (7 ensuite)
Triple rooms – 7 (2 ensuite)
Cost

The price is £275 all inclusive of:
- Workshops
- All meals (2 Breakfast, 2 Dinners, 2 Lunches)
- Cabaret
- Trip round the grounds (weather depending)
Standard single rooms are NO EXTRA COST. However, if you would like to upgrade to a larger room (twin or double) on a single occupancy basis then there is a £45 surcharge.
Ensuite rooms have a surcharge of £20 per person.
Unlike previous years, we now require full payment on booking
Payment
When booking you will receive a confirmation email with BACS details for payment. Your booking is secure once payment has been received.
Food and Diets
We have arranged local caterers to provide high-quality, seasonal, vegetarian food.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances then do tell me so I can let the caterers know.

Covid Policy
We observe strict Covid rules as dictated by the venues. If you contract Covid or test positive prior to the event then we ask that you do not attend. Refunds will be as per the guidelines detailed in our Terms and Conditions. Nick and Jon will also observe this rule as we do not want to be responsible for spreading Covid amongst the group. Therefore it may be possible one of us will not be present to lead the weekend.

All bedding and food is supplied. We are planning on a walk through the 30-acre grounds so bring some sturdy walking shoes. You may want to wear comfortable slippers around the house.
Tell us if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies. Our caterers will take good care of you.
Yes there is ample parking for everyone. Once you have unloaded your car move it to the designated parking zone.
We ask that you do NOT come if you are unwell or test positive for Covid, see our T&Cs for cancellation costs.
