Peace Is The Song

Peace is the Song – An Evening of Poetry, Music and Solidarity.

In collaboration with Derby Friends of Hebron and King George V Community Centre this fund raising event is in aid of Hebron International Resources Network and Hope and Play.

The Programme for the evening is as follows

• Founder Welcome – Shahd Karaeen – Palestinian author, poet, speaker and founder of Peace is the Song
• Musical Performance – Serena Khan – vocalist, nasheed artist and community organiser whose performances inspire hope, reflection and unity.
• Poetry Performance – Raven – Poet, disability advocate and lived experience speaker
• Empowerment Talk – Maz Ahmed – family law professional and survivor advocate supporting individuals through empowerment and practical guidance.
• Musical Performance – Shalina Litt – Emotional Alignment Coach and Wellbeing Educator integrating psychotherapeutic approaches, somatic practices and breathwork
• Poetry Reading – Shahd Karaeen
• Book signing – Hope: Re-Embroidered – Shahd Karaeen
