Singing in the Spring with Pauline Down
Singing in the Spring with Pauline Down
Pauline will be sharing a feast of fabulous harmony songs with a focus on hope and regeneration and finding nourishment through the Spring and the year ahead.
Everybody with a desire to sing with others in harmony is welcome. She will teach everything by ear and visual aids will be available.
Pauline is a voice teacher, singer, composer, arts activist and founder member of the Natural Voice Network. She currently leads Côr y Bont, a Welsh language folk choir in Pontypridd where she lives and she offers singing workshops, holidays and retreats throughout the year. Pauline co-founded Bangor Community Choir, which she led for 14 years. So welcome back Pauline!
“It was so nurturing to come together to sing. Lots of people who didn’t know each other before were learning new songs. New friends were made. There’s something special about these workshops that Pauline delivers.”
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please bring your own lunch. There is a Coop within 3 minutes’ walk from the hall, as well as a café.
The venue is within easy reach of bus stops and the railway station. Parking is mostly on the nearby streets, and there is usually parking space opposite Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital on the main road.
