Controls (advanced)

This sections is used to define a few extra controls for the event.
Payment Overrides #
This is used to enable or disable payment gateways that are set up in your Event Settings page.
Override gateways #
Ticking this will enable the override gateway feature and display a checklist of gateways that you want to enable/disable. For Paypal and Stripe, not only can you override the gateway, but you can also specify a different account to send money to, thus keeping this event financially separate from other events you manage.

Here both BACS and PayPal have been enabled and Cheque and Stripe are disabled.

When PayPal is ticked above, you can override the PayPal email for this event by ticking the checkbox and specifying a new email address.
Event Status #
You can set the event status by ticking the appropriate settings
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | This is the state of a fully working live event |
| Full | Set this when you want to show all tickets have been sold. No more tickets will be available and an Event FULL message will be displayed by default. You can change this message. If all tickets get sold when the event is Active then the event will automatically be set to FULL |
| On-Hold | Set this status to put the event on-hold. No more tickets can be sold and an On-Hold message will be displayed by default. You can change this message. |
| Cancelled | Set this status if you want to cancel the event. No more tickets can be sold and a Cancelled message will be displayed by default. You can change this message. |
Hide Event from Listing? #
Set this if you want to keep the event private and not listed on Snappy Tickets. It will also not be searchable by google, providing this option was ticked from the beginning. If the google bots have already scraped the site then it may show up in a google search. If this happens and you want to remove it from the search results then get in touch and I can remove it for you.
Password Protect Event #
Setting a password here will password protect your event so users will need to enter a password to view it and buy tickets. The event is listed in Snappy with a little padlock icon to show it is password protected. When users visit your password protected event, they are presented with a password box.

Splash Enable #
This is used to ‘splash’ a message across the event image, eg ‘Hurry Up, nearly FULL!’. Keep the message quite short.
Fundraiser Enable #
The fundraising option allows you to sell tickets towards a fundraising goal. Once enabled you will see a progress slider in the event so you can quickly see how your fundraiser is progressing.
There is an option to disable ticket sales once the target has been reached, or you can exceed this limit and continue raising further funds.
The fundraiser option is configurable in the Payments tab of the event editor.

When set up, the goal can be seen in both the event and the event listing pages.
