Carreg-y-Gân Singing Camp

A new small singing camp near Llandovery, Carmarthenshire; in one of the most magical locations in West Wales.

The picture is of children clustered around Carreg-y-Gân, the magical singing stone which can be found in the woods close to the site.

There will be plenty of singing every day plus some Qigong, drumming and storytelling on offer with music, dancing and more singing in the evenings.

Camping tickets will be limited to 30 so early booking is advised. There will also be some day tickets available.

Camping arrivals will be from 2.00pm Friday 5th June with departure up until mid-day on Monday 8th June.

There will be a caterer onsite for all hot meals and for drinks and snacks and even delicious sweet bread and rolls that may appeal at breakfast time. So you don’t have to worry about catering fully for yourself on a small camping stove, though you may wish to bring one for drinks and breakfast. If you don’t have your own kettle, there will be plug in kettles in the event tent onsite.

It is advisable to bring as much of your own water as you can. There will be a tank with a limited amount of water on site plus emergency taps in the house around 200 yards walk away but for your convenience it will help if you bring a container of water for yourself.
