Coed Wassail 2026
Join us for a Wassail in Coed Gardens;
An old tradition revived for modern times.
We will be calling to the spirits of the orchards to prosper and bear fruit for the coming year, which will involve a walk around the orchards singing songs, telling stories, offering bread soaked in cider, drinking libations from a wassail cup and putting our prayers into the earth through cider and other such offerings that the spirits of the orchard appreciate!
A family friendly event,
Come wrapped up warm and with waterproofs and umbrellas if the weather takes a turn for the worst.
We will be outside for the best part of an hour, and then returning to the fire in the green woodworking space to warm up with mulled cider, tea, coffee, cake and stories from David Ambrose, Kestrel, plus more to be confirmed.
The Wassail event will be followed by food with Setondji Sunshine Kitchen and an Open Mic from 5:30pm – Late. In the main barn.
Meal Tickets can be pre ordered via Ticket link. There will also be a limited number of meal tickets that can be purchased on the day.
