Earth Day Sing 27
We invite you to celebrate Earth Day with us as we sing to the land, trees, birds and nature that exists in the great metropolis that is our capital city. We head to the Royal Park to discover what beauty and life there is thriving amongst us.
Come and sing to the earth as we gather together in Hyde Park, London. Sayuri and Martina will lead us in a vocal warm up and songs taught by ear. All voices welcome, from those who have never sung before and beyond. All that we ask is you come with open hearts, minds and be ready to enjoy yourselves as we connect with the earth.
Meet at the Boy & Dolphin Fountain, Hyde Park, Hyde Park Corner, we will walk a little from there, but stay in that area. This is an outdoor event, please dress accordingly. Flasks of tea/sunscreen are both great ideas as British weather can be unpredictable.
There will be an opportunity to socialise afterwards as we plan to picnic together. You are invited to bring something to share if you feel called, eating your own food whilst interacting with others is also welcome.
Nearest tubes: Hyde Park Corner, Marble Arch
Where possible we encourage participants to walk, cycle and take public transport to this event.
A portion of funds from this event will go towards green charities.
Please let us know if you have any questions, we’ll endeavour to answer them.

Boy & Dolphin fountain
The marble Boy and Dolphin fountain was made in 1862 by Alexander Munro, a friend of the Alice in Wonderland author, Lewis Carroll. The fountain is located in Hyde Park’s Rose Garden.
There is a small metal plaque on a post nearby explaining the fountain’s history.
It originally stood in a Victorian sunken garden that was demolished when Park Lane was widened – which is now the site of the Joy of Life fountain. The fountain moved to The Regent’s Park in 1962 and returned to Hyde Park in 1995.
