LOG BASKET WORKSHOP

In this two day workshop I will guide you through the process of making a large log basket using the stake and strand technique, using willow from Somerset and some of my homegrown from Pembrokeshire. The workshop is designed to give you a chance to learn or hone different weaving techniques, starting with a strong base and finishing off the basket with a couple of options available for the type of handles. 

This workshop is for adults only, all materials are included in the workshop cost and tools will be provided for you to use. 

The course will run over two days from 9:30am – 4:30pm. 

Refreshments will be provided, please bring your own lunch, there is a well equipped kitchen for our use during the 2 days including a microwave. 

COST

£150 – £190.
I am offering the workshop on a sliding scale to try and make it as accessible as possible for those on lower incomes. Please pay accordingly as to what you feel you can offer. Price includes all materials.

If you would like to secure your place with a deposit and pay the rest nearer the time please choose a deposit ticket – pay £50 now and the remainder of the payment will need to be paid at least 2 weeks prior to the workshop.

Cancellation policy:

You will be entitled to a full refund up to 30 days before the workshop. After this you will receive a 75% refund if I can fill your place. Cancellation policy applies to full ticket price and deposits.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience, if you haven’t done much weaving before please note that all willow work requires hand strength and flexibility so please bear this in mind when booking on to this 2 day workshop.
