‘Joyful Resistance’ singing workshop in Towersey
Join us in Towersey for a day workshop with the wonderful Ryan O’Riordan, one of our leaders at the Chiltern Big Sing in 2024.
Ryan leads many weekly choirs in London, some of which are the UCL jazz choir, the Greenpeace workplace choir and the Islington Community choir and many, many more. Ryan has led weekend workshops and residentials for a few years and has developed a style which is high-energy and fun loving. His original songs are uplifting and energising songs for a better world and leave you feeling empowered.
Registration plus tea/coffee etc from 10am
Workshops morning and afternoon with short breaks, with an hour for lunch.
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided, but please bring your own lunch and water etc if you wish. Please also bring your own mug!
Places to book via Snappy Tickets are currently limited to 50 with the remainder being reserved for members of Village Voices Towersey.
Refunds are at the organisers’ discretion.

Towersey Village hall is a newly refurbished and well-equipped village hall for hire. Situated at the heart of Towersey village, it is at the crossroads, diagonally opposite St Catherine’s Church. With convenient access to Thame, Haddenham, Longwick, Princes Risborough, Chinnor and Tetsworth, makes it an ideal venue for functions, children’s parties, charity or club events and wedding receptions.
The hall is equipped with WiFi providing free internet access for hall users making it an ideal meeting room to hire for informal business gatherings.
