Sing at St Davids Cathedral with Maya Waldman Summer 26
Singing within the architecture of St Davids Cathedral is so enjoyable, the sounds we create so resonant and exquisite.
Join me for a day learning a mix of songs from here there and everywhere. We will spend the morning learning songs at Ty’r Pererin, a beautiful building with a high ceiling and wooden floors within the grounds of the Cathedral. This building has lovely acoustics but doesn’t echo like the Cathedral – making it a much better environment to learn the songs in. After lunch we will move to the Cathedral – filling the various spaces around the building with our voices. The Cathedral will be open to the public and all are welcome to come and hear us share our songs in an informal context.

I currently run two local community choirs and guest teach for other groups, including the Carmarthen Stroke Survivors. My teaching style is playful and supportive. I am passionate about empowering people to feel safe and free making music and singing together.
I teach music from a broad collection of styles and origins, I love songs that make me feel connected to my body and the earth, I love the sense of utter joy and wonder that comes from creating harmonies together.
