Sing with Ali Burns and Jennie Fisk

On 4th October 2026 join truly inspiring song leaders Ali Burns and Jennie Fisk for a day of glorious and nourishing harmony singing in the pretty Welsh town of Pontypridd. This workshop is perfect for all levels, from those who are seasoned singers to those who consider themselves a complete beginner. Songs will be taught at a pace perfect for those who learn by ear.

Ali Burns is a Scottish songwriter and arranger who loves to write for community choirs: songs with beautiful harmonies and simple, profound text that are easy enough to learn by ear but satisfying and special to sing. ”I think of singing as a harbour in a changing and troubled world and I love writing songs that reflect those concerns and move and ‘mend’ us in some way.”

This workshop is hosted by Pauline Down, a local voice teacher, singer and composer, and member of the Natural Voice Network.

Please bring a packed lunch with you. Doors will be open from 9.30am and the singing will start at 10.00am. We can’t wait to sing with you!
