Join me for relaxed monthly community singing sessions at Button Warehouse — an uplifting way to start your Sunday.

We meet once a month to sing for joy, connect with others, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making music together. These friendly, welcoming sessions are all about feeling good, having a laugh, and leaving lighter than when you arrived.

During our 90 minutes together we will gently stretch our bodies, warm up our voices, and learn beautiful songs from near and far.

You don’t need any singing experience to come along. Many people who join us haven’t sung since school or don’t consider themselves singers at all. There are no auditions, no solos, and no need to read music — everything is taught by ear in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.

After the singing, you’re warmly invited to stay and socialise. We’ll have our own dedicated space at Button Warehouse where you can relax, chat, and enjoy excellent coffee, tea or cake together. Refreshments are available to purchase from the café and are not included in the ticket price.

Who is Hana?

Hello — I’m Hana, a member of the Natural Voice Network (NVN) and a passionate advocate for community singing.

I believe everyone can sing, and that singing together in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment allows us to experience its real magic. My sessions are informal, friendly and responsive to the group and the energy in the room.

I live in Hurdsfield with my family and, alongside singing, enjoy djembe drumming, time in nature, and good veggie food.

Why Singing?

Group singing is not only joyful — research shows it can support both physical and emotional wellbeing. Singing together can boost mood, reduce stress, strengthen social connection, and leave us feeling energised and uplifted.

There are no auditions, no performance expectations — just people coming together to create something beautiful as a group.

Tickets are available online or on the door (£10 cash).
If you plan to pay on the door, a quick email beforehand is appreciated so I know how many people to expect.

If cost is a barrier, please get in touch — I don’t want money to stop anyone from singing with us.
