Singing weekend with Lea Morris
Join the amazing Lea Morris for a weekend of soulful harmony singing in Belfast.
Lea’s musical roots lie in gospel and community song, where she first discovered the power of voices raised together. Over time, this love of harmony, rhythm, and storytelling has grown into a body of beautiful songs now sung by choirs around the world. Drawing on gospel, soul, folk, and global influences, her songs are rich, accessible, and deeply human.
This non residential weekend workshop invites singers into Lea’s ear-taught approach to harmony singing—learning by listening, moving, and singing together. The focus is on connection, groove, and shared sound rather than performance or perfection. All voices are welcome.
Dates: Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th September
Times: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM each day
Venue: The Commons, 467a Ormeau Road, Belfast, BT7 3GR
The Sunday session will finish Lea performing a short concert from 4:00–4:30 PM, sharing some of her singer song-writer material for the lucky attendees.
Please bring your own lunch for both days. Tea and coffee will be provided
