Wild singing:Wild Food
Come and sing in nature at the wonderful community smallholding Wild Acres. A morning of soothing songs, gentle walking and lovingly guided soundbathing with the stream, followed by a delicious and nourishing lunch lovingly made with ingredients grown on the land.
This singing event is suitable for all who want to sing, you are welcome regardless of your expeierience or confidence. The songs will be gently and carefully taught by ear, learning through deep listening and mirroring. After a gentle warm up we will learn some songs, walk down to the river and there is an opportunity to sing/soundbath in the teepee, depending on circumstances on the day.
Sorrel Wilde is an experienced and passionate song leader, focussed on making new singers feel very much at home in the song space and gently nudging towards a greater connection with the voice, the body, the land and each other. We will focus for this on songs that speak to the soul and help us sit a little deeper into our bodies, encouraging acceptance and self compassion.
Saturday 19th Sept.
We will gather at 9:30 for tea and settling.
