Solar Eclipse Gathering
A Once-in-a-Generation Event: Solar Eclipse on Truleigh Hill 🌒
Wednesday 12th August 2026 6:00pm – 8:15pm
Tickets: £6 per person (Includes a pair of specialist Solar Eclipse glasses)
Join us on the farm for an unforgettable evening under the sky! On Wednesday 12th August, the UK will experience its most spectacular solar eclipse since 1999. With up to 90% of the sun covered by the moon, this is the closest we will get to a total eclipse in the British Isles for decades—the next one won’t happen until 2081!
Gather your family & friends, pack your favourite picnic, bring your blankets, and settle into the beautiful private field opposite the Truleigh Centre to watch this celestial wonder unfold.
⏱️ The Timings:
6:18pm – First Contact: The moon begins its journey across the sun.
7:14pm – The Maximum: The peak of the eclipse, where the sun will be beautifully obscured.
8:07pm – The Finale: The moon moves clear of the sun’s disk, wrapping up a magical evening.
